Jeff McDonald
Jeff McDonald, CEO of MMC Equity Group, LLC. was born in California and raised in West Lafayette, Indiana. In 1989 Jeff graduated from the Indiana University School of Business. In 2006 Jeff was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 40 under 40 list of executives on the move.
Jeff is currently the CEO of MMC Equity group and is focused on real estate investment in the Indianapolis area having recently purchased a 14 office franchise development territory, of Weichert, Realtors with his partner Bob McKinney. Jeff also owns several commercial office and apartment buildings. He is invested in a Mezzanine fund and through it continues to invest in individual companies.
Jeff began his business investment when he bought 20% stock in a Texas based food manufacturing company called The Chippery. In 1995, when Jeff became partner annual sales were at $2-$3 million. Under his presidency annual revenues grew to almost $50 million. Traveling back and forth from Indiana to Texas, Jeff eventually bought out 3 of his 4 partners and in 2005, Jeff and his remaining partner sold the business to their largest competitor, Otis Spunkmeyer.
Throughout Jeff’s business career, he has always believed in giving back to his community and has been active in several not-for-profit organizations. Jeff is currently on the board of the The Villages, and serves on the campaign cabinet and resource development committee of the United Way of Central Indiana. Jeff is also active in the Young President’s Organization (YPO) and is a board member.

Bob McKinney
Bob is a native Hoosier and 1996 Graduate of Oglethorpe University School of Business in Atlanta, Georgia.
After graduation, Bob formed a business partnership, McKinney Pittman Group. The partnership started a residential construction company and quickly grew the Carmel, Indiana-based company. With Bob serving as the Managing Member and Co-Owner, annual revenue grew to nearly $8 million over its first five years.
In 2002 Bob began to add commercial development to his repertoire and formed R. W. McKinney Companies, as the sole owner, to handle all real estate operations ranging from construction to development and sales. R. W. McKinney Companies closed out 2004 with sales exceeding the $25 million mark.
Together, Bob and his business partner, Jeff McDonald, purchased a 14-office franchise development territory for the greater Indianapolis area. They opened their first Weichert, Realtors office in November 2006. A second office is currently under construction and is expected to open in June 2007.
Bob owns several commercial office buildings, commercial land and an apartment complex. He also is involved with his brother’s ocean front real estate development.
Bob has been and remains a champion in education for children. He is a supporter of Cathedral High School and has provided a scholarship for a deserving student, funded and built an indoor baseball training facility, served as President of the Alumni Association, and as a member of the Endowment Committee. In addition, Bob was closely involved with the start up of a not-for-profit called The Starfish Initiative, which provides private high school opportunities and mentoring to low income youth. He and his wife, Jackie, also host various student functions in their home in Fishers, Indiana.
Bob was named as the recipient of The Governor’s Award for Tomorrow’s Leader in 2003. His endeavors have also been noted in The Indianapolis Star, The Indianapolis Business Journal, WISH-TV Daybreak and FOX 59 A.M., as well as Indianapolis Monthly magazine.
Bob and Jackie, high school sweethearts, just celebrated their 10-year anniversary. Together they have 3 daughters with another child on the way.
